A 2023 survey of Jewish-Arab relations in Israel conducted by Givat Haviva and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung builds on the “Index of Jewish Arab Relations” previously conducted by Prof Sammy Smooha and Dr. Nohad Ali. The survey confirms that the events of May 2021 left a mark on Jewish and Arab relations but that a recovery trend is evident more quickly than following the events of October 2000. This trend is more optimistic among the Arab public than among the Jewish public. A summary of key findings can be found on the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung website.
