Update on the Government’s Economic Development Plan for the Arab Sector

On December 30th 2015, the Government of Israel approved Resolution 922, the largest ever Economic Development Plan for Arab Society (the “Plan”). In the seven months since, focus has shifted to implementation and the preparation of detailed workplans by respective government ministries.

In January, the Task Force produced a briefing paper outlining the Plan and the process that lead to its approval. This update, created in July 2016, presents the current status of the Plan, including summaries of ministry workplans and allocations, the role of Arab localities, civil society Involvement, and related public discourse.

Please note that Plan implementation is ongoing and that this update represents developments as of today. Be sure to reach out to the Task Force with questions on particular allocations and for additional updates subsequent to July 2016.
