Ma’ase featuring in Closing Israel’s Social Gaps With Volunteerism

Noam Lautman, Israeli business leader and Chairman of Ma’ase Center, and Yossi Malka, social activist and CEO of Ma’ase Center say that providing disadvantaged Israeli youth with an opportunity to volunteer can help close Israel’s wide social gaps. Noam and Yossi tell VOI’s Judy Lash Balint that a year of post-high school volunteer work, particularly for Ethiopian and Arab graduates, makes a difference in getting accepted to higher education and receiving better employment opportunities.
