Professor Manuel Trajtenberg on Israel's economy and minority populations

Professor Trajtenberg presented an overview of Israel's economic development since its founding, culminating with why integrating minority populations into mainstream growth a major national priority today.
Professor Manuel Trajtenberg is chair of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education in Israel. He is a professor of economics at Tel Aviv University and served as the first chair of the National Council of Economics. Following the 2011 social justice protests in Israel, Professor Trajtenberg was appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to head a committee to examine and recommend social and economic reforms.
