The Task Force and Jewish Funders Network invite you to a stimulating discussion with Dr. Shula Recanati, Chairperson of Educating for Excellence. As a business leader and philanthropist, Dr. Recanati will discuss why she became involved in the program and how reducing social gaps and creating equal opportunities for underpriviliged children strengthens Israeli society as a whole. Educating for Excellence operates unique educational centers throughout Israel's social and geographic peripheries with the aim of helping children in those areas reach their maximum potential and become contributing members of society. Speaker Bio Dr. Shula Recanati Dr. Shula Recanati has over 20 years of experience as an organizational development expert, specializing in high-tech and startup companies. Before joining GlenRock, Shula headed Organizational Development Services for Pitango Venture Capital, where she helped portfolio companies build the right organizational infrastructure and management team so essential to success. Shula holds a PhD in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Tel Aviv University (Magna Cum laude), and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Cum laude).
