Proposed Budget Cuts: 15% from Arab Development Plans

Pending cuts in the state budget are poised to significantly impact Arab socio-economic development budgets and local authorities. On February 21, 2024, IATF hosted a discussion on the discourse around the cuts, efforts to prevent them, and current and anticipated impact on the ground. IATF was joined by Meir Bing, Director General at Ministry of Social Equality, Raghad Jaraisy, Co-Executive Director of Sikkuy-Aufoq, Hani Jarjouri, Manager of Resource Utilization and Economic Development at Shfar’am.
