Disparities between Arab and Jewish Local Authorities in the Social Welfare Ministry???s Budget (2004)

The author demonstrates that Arab social welfare bureaus suffer from a shortage of personnel and relatively poor levels of available resources in nearly every field of social welfare. In addition, the different demographic structure and age distribution of the Arab population dictates activities whose focus is different from social welfare activities targeting the general population.
