Cross-Cultural Psychotherapy with Indigenous Peoples: The Bedouin Arab Case

Like other indigenous populations, the Negev???s Bedouin are experiencing an array of social, economic, educational, welfare, and physical and mental-health problems as they undergo a rapid, dramatic process of modernization. As a result, they live in dialectic of globalization and localization. The author analyzes the practice of cross-cultural psychotherapy with Bedouin in Israel and its implications.
