Citizen's Accord Forum Tour: Udi Cohen and Ibrahim Abu Shindi visit the U.S.

The Citizens' Accord Forum for Jews and Arabs in Israel (CAF) was established with the vision of building a just and equal relationship of accord and stability among Israel's Jewish and Arab citizens. In 2013 the Citizens Accord Forum (CAF) is launching its groundbreaking dialogue project. The activities carried out in the project are based on the innovative technique of Applied Deliberative Dialogue (ADD), which was developed by CAF in cooperation with the Kettering Foundation, a leading research institution in the US. The results of this program are expected to be achieved on three levels: Citizens, decision makers and professionals. If you are interested in finding out more about this unique process, you will have opportunity to do so from the Co-Executive Directors of CAF - Udi Cohen and Ibrahim Abu Shindi who will travel to the U.S. this spring. Udi will be in Ohio on April 22nd until the 28th. From the 29th through mid-May he will be on the East Coast. Please contact Leah Stern, Program Specialist at the Task Force for more information: [email protected] *** Bios Ibrahim Abu Shindi Ibrahim Abu Shindi joined the Citizens' Accord Forum between Arabs & Jews in Israel in 2003 as Co-Executive Director. Prior to joining CAF, Ibrahim was the Director of the Jewish-Arab Community Center in Jaffa and also the Director of Project Renewal in Ajami-Jaffa. Ibrahim is also an active member in organizations dealing with coexistence between Jews and Arabs in Israel through a variety of cultural areas including theatre, music, art, etc., as well as those dealing with social and cultural activities. Udi Cohen Udi Cohen joined the Citizens' Accord Forum between Arabs & Jews in Israel in 2000 as Co-Executive Director. He is also currently the Director of Unity Council Organizations: The Unity Council for Relations between Ultra-orthodox, Religious and Secular Jews under the auspices of the Office of the President of Israel. Prior to that, Udi was the Director of the Israeli Society Division in the Prime Minister?? Office, Ministry of Israeli Society and the World Jewish Community. He also served as the Director of the Division of Special Projects, Meimad ??Movement for a Jewish and Democratic Israel.
