Educating Jewish and Arab Students for a Shared Future: Science, Technology, and Coexistence

Join us on January 15th in San Francisco for a luncheon on: Educating Jewish and Arab Students for a Shared Future: Science, Technology, and Coexistence with Dr. Shai Lewinsohn Director of External Affairs, Israel Sci-Tech Schools Network Jewish and Arab youngsters in Israel's social and geographic periperheries have limited access to science and technology education - essential skills for becoming participants in Israel's advanced economy. In addition, while they may live in close proximity, opportunities for Arab and Jewish students to meet each other are few. Together with a core science and technology curriculum, and 23 schools serving students in Arab communities, ISTS is spearheading innovative social integration programs and value-based education for all its students so that Arab and Jewish youngsters understand each other, today and in the future. Please RSVP to [email protected] Speaker Bio: Dr. Shai Lewinsohn Dr. Shai Lewinsohn, Director of External Affairs for the Israel Sci-Tech School Network is responsible for supervising all branding and public relations activities in Israel and abroad including establishing school-business partnerships. Dr. Lewinsohn received his doctorate in organizational behavior from Washington University. His experience in public school education includes assignments in the New Haven, CT and Houston, TX school systems. Dr. Lewinsohn, has been with the Sci-Tech School Network for almost two decades.
