"Challenging and Changing Tradition: The Ongoing Struggle for Gender Equality in Israel from Jewish and Arab Perspectives," a session at the annual Women of Reform Judaism Social Justice Conference, will focus on women as change-makers in Israel. Discussion will include the increasing numbers of Arab women entering higher education and the labor market, and the barriers and opportunities they face. Suzan Hassan-Daher, JDC Israel Tevet’s Director of Employment Programs for Arabs and for Career Advancement, will be part of the panel.
