Diversity and Inclusion at The Hebrew University I Sept 30th
Sep 30, 2015 12:30pmIncreasingly, Israeli colleges and universities are instituting large-scale efforts to make their campuses more welcoming to, and representative of, Israel’s diversity and Arab citizens in particular. At the Hebrew University, The Center for Multiculturalism and Diversity was created to develop social and academic approaches to multiculturalism that will create a shared campus and benefit Israeli society as a whole.
Join us to hear from Michal Barak, Executive Director of the Center,to hear about large-scale efforts to make the Hebrew University campus more welcoming to and representative of Arab citizens, and how advancing inclusiveness on campus stands to reduce Arab dropout rates, improve integration in advanced fields of employment, and build a stronger and more shared Israeli society as a whole.
