JCPA Plenum: Social Justice in Israel

Take an in-depth look at some of Israel’s most pressing social problems, including the difficulties experienced by Arab citizens of Israel; a review of women’s issues in Israel today; and a closer examination of the plight of asylum seekers from Africa in the Jewish State.

Prof. Salman Elbedour, Department of Human Development and Psychoeducational Studies at the Howard University School of Education, will speak about Jewish-Arab relations in Israel from an educational and psychological perspective. He will be joined by Mark Hetfield, CEO of HIAS and Nancy Kaufman, CEO of NCJW for a discussion on Social Justice in Israel.
