The 2012 Malakom and Tsofen Arab Business Convention May 30 2012, Golden Crown Hotel, Nazareth 09:30- 15:30 The Hi-Tech Economy in the Arab Sector - a Seminar conducted by Tsofen Tsofen would like to invite you to take part in the Advanced Technology Economy in the Arab Sector Track which will take place in the Arab- Israeli society's leading convention for economics and business. Malakom, the only Arab language Business and Finance Magazine in Israel, is organizing the Convention for its 3rd year- this time in collaboration with Tsofen- a Nazareth based non profit Community Interest Company which was founded in 2008 by Arab and Jewish hi-tech professionals, with the aim of promoting the integration of Arab university graduates into the hi-tech and IT industries. This is the first time the economics convention includes a technological track. It is thus becoming a partner in the promotion of advanced technology in the Arab society on Israel. The Seminar, which will focus on advanced technology economy in the Arab sector, will examine current trends in hi-tech in the international, Israeli, and Middle Eastern technological industry. In addition, a panel will be hosted in which the pioneering figures in the Arab- Israeli hi-tech will be presented. We are honored to host the open ceremony's keynote speaker: Mr. Elisha Yanai- Chairman of Israel Association of Electronics and Software Industries, and Mr. Shimon Dik- CEO of Motorola Israel. Mr. Yanai will address the development of hi-tech in Israel and its adaptation to the Arab society. The Convention's second Track will focus on economic growth challenges in the Arab sector in Israel, and will address various current trends in the subject, i.e. the growth and management challenges of family owned businesses, breaching of entrepreneurs and businesses into the Arab market, cooperation of leading Arab entrepreneurs in larger-scale business initiatives, the impact of Israel's entrance to the OECD on the Arab sector economy, and more.
