Van Leer Institute Tour: Rabbi Professor Naftali Rothenberg visits the U.S.
Apr 4 - 23, 2013 9:00am - 9:00pmRabbi Professor Naftali Rothenberg is a Senior Research Fellow at the Van Leer Institute of Jerusalem and will present a moral-halakhic perspective on minority relations in the Jewish Nation-State. Rabbi Rothenberg will be in the New York Tri-State area between April 4th and April 15th. Between April 16th to April 23rd, he may travel to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, or North Carolina.

Bio
RABBI PROFESSOR NAFTALI ROTHENBERG
Rabbi Professor Naftali Rothenberg is a senior research fellow at the Van Leer Jerusalem Institute (since 1994), where he is Jewish Culture and Identity chair and editor of Identities, Journal for Jewish Culture & Identity. He also serves as the Rabbi and spiritual leader of Har Adar, a Jerusalem suburb town, where he resides with his family.
His main fields of research are: The wisdom of love; Political Philosophy; Environmental philosophy; Philosophy of Halakha.
He has published numerous articles and 12 books. His most recent books are: Wisdom by the week - the Weekly Torah Portion as an Inspiration for Thought and Creativity, Yeshiva University Press, New York 2012.
