About Middle East Education through Technology (MEET)
MEET is an exciting initiative that enables its young Arab and Israeli participants to acquire shared advanced technological and leadership tools while empowering them to create positive social change within their own communities. MEET recently launched a new hub in Nazareth, hosted at Stef Wertheimer's Industrial Park, bringing together Arab and Jewish high school students from the North. This is an intensive 3-year program (800 academic hours) fostering technology and entrepreneurship as a common language to bridge the communities towards a shared society. MEET also Invests in excelling youth from a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, providing a unique blend of education in skill-sets such as English language, computer science, entrepreneurship and leadership, and value-sets, for instance encouraging inter-group productive dialogue in which group boundaries are re-framed around common goals.
