Fohs Foundation seeks to improve Jewish-Arab relations within Israel through structural and institutional reform and through policies and practices that build common interests, mutual responsibility, and shared benefits. The foundation supports strategies and initiatives that strengthen Israel's future as a just and prosperous home for its Jewish and Arab communities.

Supports organizations and programs in several broad categories: (1) Advocates and practitioners of institutional change (The Abraham Fund, Sikkuy, Shatil, Citizens Accord Forum); (2) Public education through media (Agenda, Keshet/Arab Labor, Sesame-Hop, topical films and documentaries); (3) Integrative and multicultural-themed educational initiatives (Hand-in-Hand bi-lingual schools,  Arabic as Cultural Bridge); (4) Building economic opportunity and community capacity (Tsofen, Center for Arab-Jewish Economic Development, Negev Institute/AJEEC, INJAZ Center); (5) Research, resources, collaborations relative to mission (Haifa University Smooha survey of Arab and Jewish attitudes, PEACH/peace education clearing house, Social Venture Fund, Inter-Agency Task force on Israeli Arab Issues).
