Windows - Channels for Communication

Windows - Channels for Communication

Established in 1991, Windows – Channels for Communication is a grassroots NGO in which Palestinians from both sides of the Green Line and Israeli Jews, supported by internationals, are working to promote peace that is based on justice for all in the area.

Windows' programs are mostly media oriented, long-term educational programs for youth that enable a sustainable change of perceptions, attitudes and behavior. The emotionally supported framework gives participants an opportunity
to be exposed to more accurate information about the past and present, to develop a wide perspective, and to acquire tools, skills and motivation to take action towards a better future. This year Windows’ focus is on a media program
for 16-17 years old girls and a theater group for graduates of our media program, now 19-23 years old.

Windows is also using its 25 years' experience to offer also bi-national training programs for educators in Arab and Jewish schools in Israel, within the framework of Shared Life Education.
