Table to Table

Table to Table addresses the paradox of poverty and large-scale food waste in Israel. Each month, the organization's staff and volunteers collect tens of thousands of meals and hundreds of tons of produce and dairy items that would otherwise be destroyed from hundreds of food producers. The food is redistributed free of charge to 230 non profit organizations serving the needy, both Jewish and non-Jewish, throughout Israel.

Table to Table (a) makes best use of existing resources, (b) raises awareness about the issue of food waste and (c) encourages joint communal responsibility in addressing the growing problem of nutritional insecurity in Israel.
