Rambam Health Care Campus (RHCC)
Rambam Health Care Campus (RHCC)
The aim of Rambam Health Care Campus (RHCC) is to deliver patient-oriented, state-of-the-art healthcare and preventive medicine with a warm human touch; to educate future physicians and allied health professionals; to provide an inspiring home for basic and applied medical research in life sciences and biomedical engineering, with the aim of better understanding disease; to apply biomedical research discoveries to improved clinical care; and to energize contemporary medical practice while accelerating the creation of the medicine of tomorrow.
Rambam's diverse patient constituency includes Jews, Christians, Muslims, Bah'is, Druze and Ahmadis. Arab and Jewish physicians and nurses work side-by-side to heal the sick, repair the wounded, and palliate human suffering. Furthermore, in the framework of our Middle-East outreach program, Rambam provides sick children from Gaza, the West Bank and neighboring countries with medical treatment unavailable to them at home; provides advanced training to medical professionals from the Palestinian Authority, Jordan and elsewhere, and participates in regional scientific exchange.
