Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel
Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel
The Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in Israel is an independent, non-partisan, socioeconomic research institute based in Jerusalem. The Center conducts high-quality, impartial research on socioeconomic conditions in Israel, and develops innovative, equitable and practical options for macro public policies that advance the well-being of Israelis. The Center strives to have an impact on public policy through direct communications with policy makers and by enriching the public debate that accompanies the decision making process.
The Center’s research explores trends across various population groups in Israel, which includes analyzing data by ethnicity, gender, level of religiosity, and geographic location. As such, numerous Taub Center studies include comparisons between Arab Israelis and other population groups in Israel. In addition, the Center has conducted several studies that focus specifically on this sector and, in some cases, conduct further comparisons among Arab Israelis by gender, age, and sub-population group.
