Al Muntada Al Taqadumi Association

The Al Muntada Al Taqadumi Association, a state-wide association established in 2000, is committed to spreading the values of democracy within Arab society in Israel, to transforming it from a collective familial society to one that includes solidarity, a place for the Other and for individuality, and to supporting youth and women.  

Although Israel is considered a world expert in the field of trauma care, there is no center for treating trauma and psychological distress for the country's Arab population.  To address these gaps, the Association founded the Nur Center.  The Nur Center is committed to offering psychotherapeutic services which will be sensitive to political and social issues that are unique to the Arab population in Israel while employing the patients' mother tongue (Arabic).
