Sindyanna of Galilee is an Arab-Jewish women-led company that operates in the Arab population of northern Israel. We use locally sourced materials to produce fair trade organic and regular olive oil, za'atar spice mixes, carob syrup, almonds, honey, and olive oil soaps. These products are exported to the USA, Europe, Japan and Australia from our facilities near Nazareth.
Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil received prestigious awards at several international competitions including Extra Gold Medal in Italian BIOL 2015, Terra Olivo Prestige Gold in 2014 as well as at First Harvest 2014 where it was named the best olive oil in Israel.
Sindyanna combines commercial activity with work in the community, thereby empowering of Arab women while developing the olive industry. We focus our work around values such as land preservation, women's employment, environmental considerations, and commerce according to the principles of Fair Trade.Sindyanna of Galilee is a unique, non-profit, olive oil producer located in the Galilee in Northern Israel. We export premium quality, wholesome olive oils that reflect our passion and personal commitment. Our olive oils have been exported to Europe, Japan, North America and many other countries, and have won numerous international competitions. There’s a unique story behind this success – Sindyanna is led by Arab and Jewish women who are passionate about our three main goals: creating the best quality Fair Trade products, developing job opportunities for Arab women, and promoting coexistence.
Sindyanna is located in the Kanna industrial zone, a short distance from the churches associated with the miracle of the wine. According to Christian tradition, the first miracle of Jesus occurred in Cana of Galilee where Jesus turned water into wine. In the present, Cana of Galilee boasts a number of international, religious, and historic sites, attracting approximately a half million tourists each year.
