WEBINAR RECORDING | Women in Israel's High-Tech Sector

April 7, 2020

Prior to the Coronavirus outbreak, Itworks founder, Ifat Baron and Arab high-tech engineer Sireen Nijeem were scheduled to present insights into efforts to integrate its Arab citizens into Israel’s high-tech sector on a tour of American Jewish communities. Thanks to the JCRC and NextGen of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, they presented via online briefing open to all, and discussed the impact of the current global crisis.

Why has workforce diversity in tech been heralded as a win-win for Israeli society as a whole? How is coping with the current crisis different for an Arab high-tech engineer than for most of Arab society? What does it take for an Arab woman to be part of the “Start-Up Nation?”
