Following is a summary of the Ono Report 2009 presented here for public examination. It represents the first attempt to study the Israeli employment market on the basis of the assumption that acquiring a higher education leads to closing of social gaps. The report examines the worldview of employers in quality, prestigious professions and how they make decisions when deciding who to hire and who to promote. This study examines three groups: Israelis of Ethiopian descent, Israeli Arabs and ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) Jews, and the presence of these groups on the main boulevard of quality professions in Israel.
