Recently, there was a large cross section of support among many major Jewish organizations that Israel's proposed "Conversion Bill" must be stopped. This agreement resulted in the postponement of the measure. These groups were unified in their efforts because of the particularly Jewish nature of the proposed bill. We must be similarly cohesive in our support for universal values, such as equality and justice.
