This memo provides information on social indicators of the status of the Arab population in a number of key areas. The memo includes comparisons between Arabs and Jews and selected comparisons between Arab men and women and of trends over time. The findings are based on analyses of national databases and surveys of the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and the Myers-JDC-Brookdale Institute.
