The aim of this program is to recruit 30 students (per year) from the Bedouin-Israeli community especially in the Negev, aimed at raising engineering college enrollment for young men and women from the Bedouin-Israeli community, which, historically, has been low throughout Israel. Shamoon College believes that their BSc in engineering will promote success and create leaders in engineering and in the community. The program includes extra courses in Hebrew, math, study skills, leadership skills, self-empowerment, and each student receives a mentor for the duration of studies.
