Micha Beer Sheva conducts the course "Basic Concepts in Acquiring Language amongst Hearing and Hearing Impaired Children."

In the absence of a training framework in this field in the Beer Sheva area, there is an urgent need to train a professional Arabic-speaking work force in the areas of treatment, management, and medical therapy.  This workforce will then be integrated into rehabilitation frameworks to be developed in the community, and will be able to provide appropriate rehabilitation.

Micha Beer Sheva responded to this challenge and developed a course in its expertise: Hearing and Language Rehabilitation. The course operates today in cooperation with The Kaye Educational College in Beersheva and the Abu Basma Regional Council.
