Established at the initiative of Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, the goal of the fund is to offer scholarships to demobilized combat soldiers with economic difficulties, who without this assistance would find it difficult to realize their dream of studying. In return the scholarship recipient carries out work on behalf of the community throughout his period of studies. This is done at a scope of four weekly volunteer hours in one of the IMPACT community projects, including projects in Yarka, Arabe, and Rahat.
