Training for women-owned businesses, business planning and individual support for 60 small businesses owned by women in a defined settlement area. It is Ofek’s goal that they will be able to prevent the collapse of the businesses, expand the scope of the participant’s business activity and bring 90 additional women into the workforce within three years. The 90 jobs that will be created as a result of this initiative will have widespread economic implications for over 90 households and broad communities, and will serve as a role model of success. In addition, the women as a group, with professional support, will initiate and implement a regional marketing plan, which will express the process of empowerment that the women have undergone, assist their businesses and contribute to the economy of the region.
