Hospice services in Bedouin localities in the Negev, Rahat and Nazareth provided to terminal patients at home, in the hospital or in the old age home. This is part of an overall approach of supportive treatment for alleviating pain and balancing the patient’s symptoms. The treatment, which lasts for a month on the average, is provided by an interdisciplinary team including a physician, nurse, social worker, caregiver and volunteer who support the patient and his family in their difficult period.
