JDC-ISRAEL: Higher Education as an Employment Horizon for Bedouins

Supports the efforts of Bedouin communities in Israel to join the workforce in professions suitable to their training and encourages them to participate in higher education to build careers. This program has two tracks. One is the student track, where participants receive occupational guidance during their studies. The students will be exposed to the working world and will develop personal ties with employers, as part of an effort to find work in the future with these employers. The other track is the academic preparatory track, which is for 12th grade graduates. The academic program will prepare the participants for the future academic world, and will help them choose fields of study with an occupational horizon. These graduates will later take part in the student track.
