The Israel Association of Community Centers: Bedouin Women’s Economic Empowerment Program

Provides Bedouin women with self-confidence, knowledge and skills to break out of the cycle of poverty and contribute to the family income. This innovative program teaches women the technical skills required for a specific profession, and focuses on their personal growth and empowerment. Throughout the program, participants are accompanied by a social worker or psychologist to help them overcome any difficulties they have while in the program, such as stereotypes and social barriers.
