Seeks to render Jerusalem a more equitable and viable city and works to generate and promote a more politically sustainable Jerusalem. Ir Amim operates in four areas: monitoring and advocacy, public outreach, civil society empowerment, and policy formation. The organization is comprised of professionals and activists – attorneys, planners, architects, educators, social scientists and concerned citizens – devoted to a stable city, equitably shared by both Israelis and Palestinians as well as a city that safeguards their historical and cultural heritage and the sites holy to three world religions.
