Many families fail to place their young children with special needs in specialized treatment programs through shame, lack of awareness of the importance of early intervention and alienation from the formal system. Through the Home Treatments Program the children receive the treatments they need at their homes and during the process, the families are educated and empowered to connect to the formal system in order to provide their child with the specialized care s/he needs.
