The Galilee Society

Empowers the Arab minority in Israel by giving them the means to improve their economic, health and environmental conditions. Its mission is to strengthen civil society through measures such as education, distribution of health services, raising awareness through the media, and extensive advocacy and lobbying efforts to achieve equal health and environmental conditions. It promotes human rights and minority rights via social, economic and legal reform. The Galilee Society consists of four different departments: the Health Rights Center, Environmental Justice Center, Rikaz Databank (provides socio-economic data relating to Arabs in Israel), and the Naqab (Negev) Department.
