Youth leadership training program in Israeli Arab communities in the Bet Hakerem region.  North American college student volunteers conduct weekly sessions in English in five villages, for students in grades 10 and 11.  Groups follow a structured curriculum which integrates the exploration of social, political, and identity issues with English enrichment.  The program also serves as preparation for an extensive schedule of encounter programs with Jewish youth and adults - from Israel and from English-speaking countries.
