Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools: Jewish/Bedouin Project

Two network schools in Kramim (Jewish) and Wadi Salame (Bedouin) work together in joint projects including ecological projects such as cleaning up the Wadi Salame Stream and its surroundings on International Ecology Day, exhibitions on Bedouin culture and a joint Bedouin/Jewish Theatre group that performs in bi-lingual productions.

Together the students work to contribute to their schools and communities by coming together to improve their environment and to promote dialogue and sensitivity between the two cultures. The activities emphasize environmental awareness, social sensitivity, creativity through art, cultural similarities and differences, cooperation, and teamwork.
