The Enchanted City For Kindergarten - Grade 2

The guided program is an exploration of the history, beliefs, cultures and languages of the different religions in Jerusalem.  It takes place in the magnificent walled Citadel of Jerusalem, in the magical gardens and courtyards, and in the historical guardrooms.  It offers an encounter with the rich and colorful human mosaic that makes the city of Jerusalem so special. It explores different houses of prayer by using intricate models, engages in theatrical activities, and presents a beautiful and magical book about the "family tree" to which everyone belongs.

What do we believe and what do we seek to promote? The empowerment and the sense of belonging and love that children feel towards this city, along with values of social, cultural and religious tolerance. The children are exposed to history and learn about the beliefs, religions, languages, religious figures and dress of the different inhabitants of the magical city of Jerusalem.

A special component of the program is a central day of activities and sharing that brings together Arab and Jewish children from different schools and areas that have participated in the program.
