Seeks to make university and higher education studies accessible to disadvantaged youth to diminish the gaps between the weaker society and the mainstream. Students engage in scientific and technological lectures, academic courses and social/recreational activities. The program increases participants’ awareness of the importance of higher education, particularly in the areas of science and technology, as well as increases their belief in their own abilities to successfully integrate into an academic environment. Other programs that are supported include a science club, a “Meet the Experts Program,” an internet project and a science/technology fair.
