The Forum conducts discussions around long-term strategic and socio-political issues, such as: society and local councils, relationships with the central government and officials, planning and proper management.  The forum enables the heads of the authorities to discuss as a group material issues arising in their daily work in connection with the local authority which, due to their crowded timetables, they are not able to discuss and consider in depth.
