JFN Newsletter
February 2007

An Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues has been formed to educate North American Jewry on Israeli Arab issues and to place the topic on the agenda of mainstream Jewish organizations. The Task Force has over 70 members, including foundations, among whose ranks are several JFN members.

There will be a special breakfast meeting of the Task Force at the upcoming JFN conference in Atlanta on March 19 from 7:30 to 8:30 am in the Willard Boardroom of the hotel, to be chaired by Jeffrey Solomon, president of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies. All interested funders are invited.

For more information, including a statement about why North American foundations are committed to and support this effort, contact Jessica Balaban, Director of the Task Force, at Jessica.Balaban@jdcny.org. If you are interested in signing the statement of support in time for its display at the conference, please contact Jessica by February 19.
