Working for Social Justice in Israel

We've raised funds and spread the word on behalf of our two strategic social justice partners in Israel, NISPED, the Negev Institute for Strategies of Peace and Economic Development, and Yedid. These organizations strengthen Israel by working with disadvantaged Israelis from all ethnic communities and geographic areas, thus helping Israel realize the goal stated in its Declaration of Independence to provide equal rights and opportunities to all its citizens, including its Arab minority.

Ameinu is a founding member of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues, a diverse, broad-based coalition of North American Jewish organizations dedicated to increasing awareness of the economic, educational and social service-related weaknesses facing Israeli Arab communities and leveraging financial resources to provide effective solutions.
