Oranim Academic College of Education is the leading, largest Teacher's College in Northern Israel. Established 60 years ago, in 1951, it grants Bachelor and Master degrees in Humanities, Science and Education. There are 5,000 students of all ages, socio-economic, ethnic and religious backgrounds, including Jewish and Arab-Israelis from rural and urban areas from across the country.  Our mission is to train the best teachers, counselors, and educational leaders for formal and informal settings. Our graduates teach in grades K-12, in pre-schools, boarding schools, youth movements and community settings.

Shdemot Center for Community Leadership at Oranim is an educational resource center for Outreach - promoting and enriching neighboring schools, cities and towns and reaching thousands in programs that build environmental stewardship, reach out to at-risk children, tutor children with learning disabilities, create Arab-Jewish communal dialogue, urban activism, and more.
