"The Opportunities and Challenges facing Israel as a Vibrant Democracy" – London, UK – March 8, 2007

The aim of the symposium was to create an unprecedented platform for professional and lay leaders from across the Jewish community in Europe to learn about and engage with some of the contemporary challenges facing Israel as a democratic and Jewish state. The event was co-hosted by The Pears Foundation UK, The Mark Rich Foundation, The Sacta-Rashi Foundation, The Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies and The Rayne Trust, and received letters of endorsement from Zeev Bielski and Minister Yuli Tamir.
