March 19 – Task Force breakfast meeting chaired by Jeff Solomon at JFN

The Inter-Agency Task Force on Israeli Arab Issues created a Foundation Forum composed of the foundation members of the Task Force to gather like minds; draw on foundation expertise and to strategize on measures to address weaknesses in economic, educational and social services facing Israeli Arab communities.

The Foundation Forum convened at the 2007 Jewish Funders's Network.

The goals of this meeting were to:

• Hear from foundation colleagues, both principals and professionals, about their funding history of Israel-based initiatives focused on or including the Arab citizens of Israel
• Understand what foundation colleagues’ allocations processes are like and why they are committed to these issues
• Discuss the unique opportunities and ability that foundations have, individually and as strategic partners, for impact in Israel
