Ameinu Lunch with Amal Elsana Alh'jooj, Director of the Arab-Jewish Center for Equality, Empowerment and Cooperation (AJEEC) - May 1, 2008

Ameinu hosted a last-minute lunch gathering with Amal Elsana Alh'jooj, Director of AJEEC, the Arab-Jewish Center for Equality, Empowerment and Cooperation, and one of Israel's leading Bedouin activists in the area of Jewish-Arab relations. Ms. Elsana Alh'jooj shared her story and experiences and answered questions. She has chosen to work in the context of a Jewish-Arab organization to improve the situation of the Bedouins in the Negev and to promote cooperation between the two communities.

The lunch took place on May 1st from 12:00 to 1:30PM at the Office of Proskauer Rose, 1585 Broadway.
