"What a Day" Festival for Tolerance Day at the AJCC - In Jaffa

Nov 27 2010 11:00am - 4:00pm -

In honor of International Tolerance Day and in support of this vision, the AJCC is hosting the first-ever "What a Day! (Wahad Yom!)" event on Saturday, November 27th, 2010 at the Arab Jewish Community Center (109 Kedem Street, Tel Aviv-Jaffa.) Co-sponsored by the Delegation of the European Union to Israel and the Cultural Office of the Municipality of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, "What a Day!" will begin at 11 am with a parade of Arab and Jewish performers and marchers throughout the streets of Jaffa, expressing and demonstrating support for tolerance and coexistence between Arabs and Jews living in Israel. At 1 pm the central stage kicks off the remainder of the festivities, which includes speeches and performances by distinguished guests, an exhibition of social organizations, a Palestinian women's handicraft fair, a food fair, and activities for children and families. It would be our honor for you to help us support the cause of Arab-Jewish tolerance with thousands of people from all backgrounds by  attending this one-of-a-kind celebration.
