UJC study mission to Israel for Federations focused on Israeli Arabs

This study trip focused on issues critical to Israel’s Arab citizens. The trip, which visited Arab villages in the Galilee, Bedouin villages in the Negev and mixed Jewish/Arab cities, addressed issues such as social welfare needs, education, healthcare, employment and women’s empowerment. Participants met with a variety of experts, both Jewish and Arab, including national and local government representatives, NGO leadership, researchers and representatives of federations already active in Arab communities in Israel.
